Re: Invoice 118 and the service contract
Hello,
Please find the signed service contract attached. Invoice 118 covers the first quarter, as agreed in the contract. Let me know if anything is missing.
Best regards
Every mail you have, one search away
Years of archives, every attachment and every scanned page, searched together in one place.
All archives at once, wherever they are
Add every Outlook .pst and .ost file and your Gmail export, or a whole folder: on your computer, a network drive, Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox. Everything is searched together, across the years.
Inside attachments
Words inside PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, RTF and text files are found, including older .doc and .xls files.
Scanned documents too
Scanned PDFs and photos of documents are read with text recognition, each in its own language, so the words in them can be found too.
AND, OR and NOT with a click
Every word becomes a tag. Click between two tags to switch AND and OR, click a tag to leave that word out. Quotes match a whole word.
Works with Outlook and Gmail
Keep using your mail as usual. Mails are shown in their original layout and open in your mail program with one click.
Works offline, like a desktop app
Install MailDepth from Chrome or Edge and it opens in its own window. After you sign in, it keeps working without an internet connection, even on a plane.
In your language. In any language.
Use MailDepth in your own language, and find mail in every language, even when the mail and its attachment are written in different ones.
The mail is in Arabic, the scanned certificate in English. An English search finds it.
The mail is in English, the scanned minutes in Chinese. A Chinese search finds them.
Accents and umlauts are ignored, so every spelling is found.
Up and running in three steps
Nothing to install and nothing to set up. If you can open a web page, you can use MailDepth.
Bring in your mail from Outlook or Gmail

Your mails never leave your computer
Most search tools upload your mailbox to a server. MailDepth works the other way round.
- Read on your computer. Your mail files are opened directly in the browser. Nothing is uploaded: no mails, no attachments, no file names.
- Stored on your computer. The search index is kept in your browser's storage on this computer only.
- Your files stay as they are. MailDepth only reads your mail files. It never changes or deletes them.
- No tracking. MailDepth sends only your e-mail address and a random computer ID to maildepth.com, to check your subscription.
Made for confidential mail
Contracts, offers, technical reports and personal data stay where they are: on your own computer, under your control.
We can't see what you search for, and we don't want to.

Questions and answers
Which files can MailDepth search?
Outlook data files (.pst and .ost) and .mbox files: the format Gmail uses when you download your mail, which Thunderbird and Apple Mail can save too. You can add as many as you like, or a whole folder at once.
Which languages does MailDepth support?
MailDepth itself is available in 13 languages: English, Español, Deutsch, Français, Português, Italiano, Türkçe, Русский, العربية, हिन्दी, 中文, 日本語 and 한국어. Search works in every language, so a mail written in Arabic with an attachment in English is found with an English word, and the other way round. Accents are ignored, so cafe also finds Café. Scanned documents are read in their own language too, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi and Russian.
Does it work with Gmail?
Yes. Download your Gmail once with Google Takeout (takeout.google.com, choose only Mail). Google sends you a link, usually within a few hours. Add the .mbox file from the download to MailDepth: your mails, attachments and scanned documents become searchable, and your labels appear as folders. For newer mail, make a new export and add it too. Mails MailDepth already has are skipped.
How fast is searching?
MailDepth reads your archives once. After that, every search covers all of them together, including attachments and scanned documents, and results appear while you type.
Are my mails uploaded anywhere?
No. MailDepth reads your files and builds its search index on your own computer, inside the browser. Mail content never leaves your computer.
My .pst files are in Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox. Does that work?
Yes. With the Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox app on your computer, simply choose that folder in MailDepth. Mark the folder as available offline first so the files are on your computer while MailDepth reads them. Your files stay where they are; MailDepth only reads them and never uploads them anywhere.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Once you have signed in, MailDepth opens and searches without an internet connection. It only needs to go online every few days to check your subscription.
Can I install it like a normal program?
Yes. In Chrome or Microsoft Edge, click the install icon in the address bar while MailDepth is open. It then gets its own window, a desktop shortcut and a place in the Start menu. Updates arrive automatically.
What do I need?
A computer with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, and your Outlook .pst or .ost files or a Gmail export. There is nothing to install.
Can I keep Outlook open while using MailDepth?
Yes. The first time a mailbox is read, it should be closed in Outlook, because Outlook locks the files it has open. You can also give MailDepth a copy of the file. After that, both work side by side.
How large can my archive be?
MailDepth has been tested with archives of more than 100,000 mails spread over several .pst files. Large archives take longer to read the first time. After that, searching is instant.
Is there a yearly plan?
Yes. MailDepth costs $9 a month, or $89 a year, which is two months free. Both include every feature.
What happens after the free trial?
You decide whether to subscribe. If you don't, MailDepth stops opening, but the index on your computer is kept. Subscribe later and you continue where you left off.
Can I use it on a new computer?
Yes. A subscription works on one computer at a time. When you sign in on a new computer, MailDepth offers to move your subscription there. You don't need to contact us.
How do I get help?
