MailDepth

Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-30 · Last updated 30 October 2026

These terms apply when you use MailDepth, the mail search program at maildepth.com. Please read them. By ticking the box when you sign in, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

MailDepth is provided by Feridun Çakır, Yenişehir Mah., Eşref Bitlis Blv. No: 23, Pendik, İstanbul, Türkiye ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@maildepth.com.

2. What MailDepth does

MailDepth is a program that runs in your web browser. It reads mailbox files that you choose (for example Outlook .pst and .ost files, or .mbox files from Gmail and other mail programs), builds a search index and lets you search your mail and attachments.

All of this happens on your own computer. Your mails, attachments, file names and searches are not sent to us. The only information MailDepth sends to us is what we need to run your account and subscription. Our Privacy Policy lists it in full.

3. Your account

4. Free trial

New accounts get a free trial of 14 days. No payment details are needed for the trial and it does not turn into a paid subscription by itself. There is one free trial per person and per computer; creating more accounts to get another trial is not allowed. When the trial ends, MailDepth asks you to subscribe. The index already built on your computer is kept.

5. Subscriptions and payment

6. Your licence and what you may not do

While your trial or subscription is active, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use MailDepth. MailDepth itself, its code, design and name remain ours. You may not:

7. Your mail and your responsibility

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep MailDepth running and to improve it, and we may change features over time. MailDepth needs an internet connection now and then to check your subscription; it keeps working offline for a limited time in between. We do not promise that MailDepth will be free of errors or available without interruption.

9. Disclaimer

MailDepth is provided "as is". Search results depend on the content and condition of your mailbox files; text recognition of scanned documents is not always accurate. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those stated in these terms.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for MailDepth in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using MailDepth and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. You can ask us to delete your account by writing to support@maildepth.com.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters for you, we will tell you in MailDepth or by e-mail before it applies. The version and date are shown at the top of this page.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts of Istanbul (Anadolu) have jurisdiction. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protection that applies where you live, including your right to bring a claim in the courts of your own country where the law gives you that right. If something goes wrong, please write to us first; most problems can be solved quickly.
